FAQ
Questions
What counts as one email?
Each recipient. A message to three people counts as three, the same way every provider counts. Emails we refuse before sending, such as to an address we know is dead, are not counted.
What happens to the free 500 a day when I subscribe?
It belongs to the free plan. Any paid plan replaces it with the plan’s monthly emails and no daily limit.
What happens when I go over my plan?
Extra emails are billed at ₦200 ($0.26) per 1,000 on your next invoice. Expecting a busy month? Buy a top-up in your dashboard first. You can also set a spending limit, and we stop sending at it instead.
Do unused emails roll over?
No. A plan’s emails reset each month. Top-ups you buy in the dashboard last 12 months.
Can I send newsletters through Send?
Send is for emails triggered by a person’s action. Newsletters and promotions go through Marketing, which handles contacts, unsubscribes and its own sending IPs. Receipts and codes never share an IP with newsletters.
When do I need a dedicated IP?
Usually above 250,000 emails a month. Below that, a dedicated IP sends too little to build a reputation and often lands worse than our shared pool. It’s included on Scale from 500,000 a month.
