Frequently asked

Do I need MailerSend as well to send email from my app?

With Mailyte, no: app email over SMTP or a REST API is part of the same account as your campaigns and mailboxes. MailerLite points to MailerSend, a separate product with its own pricing page, for transactional email.

Does Mailyte have a drag-and-drop email builder like MailerLite’s?

No. Mailyte’s templates are code with editable regions: a developer or designer sets a template up once, and your team edits the text, image, button and colour regions in place. Variables are written {{ name }}, with one filter, default.

Can Mailyte host my team’s mailboxes as well as send my campaigns?

Yes. Mailyte hosts mailboxes on your own domain, with IMAP, SMTP and webmail, in the same account as your campaigns and app email, and the first ones are free.

Can I import my MailerLite subscribers into Mailyte?

Yes. Import them as a CSV yourself and Mailyte creates the list for you. With Bounce protection on, each new contact is checked before you email it, from your plan’s monthly checks.

Can I pay for Mailyte in naira?

Yes. Mailyte is priced in naira, by card or bank transfer, and in dollars if you prefer. MailerLite’s pricing page offers a dollar or euro toggle.
